We Jews have been wandering the world since Abraham left Ur of the Chaldees for Canaan.  And then there was the forty year long trek through the Sinai wilderness, and the first and second Diasporas, and the sail from Europe to the Americas at the turn of the twentieth century.  On February 11 at noon on Zoom 1, congregant member, Jorge Schneider will recount his family’s story from Russia to Argentina in the 1880’s and then to the United States in 1961.  Though much has changed in the last 150, Jorge will talk about the continued challenges that immigrants had and still experience.
