ZOOM: The Merchant Marine Academy: A Lifetime of Experience & the Experience of a Lifetime with Bob Wolff & George H. Rhynedance
The Merchant Marine Academy in Sands Point has been part of the Long Island landscape since the early Forties. Our congregation has two special ties with the Academy: our congregation held High Holiday services at the facilities for several years long before we were in Plandome, and, more significantly, our beloved congregant, Bob Wolff, was a cadet at the Academy. Bob will be joined by George H. Rhynedance, the director of external and congressional affairs at the Academy to give us a first-hand look at this noble institution.
