ZOOM: Clergy One-Offs with Rabbi Lee
A Story by I. L. Peretz: "Bontshe the Silent"
Building on the success of Rabbi Lee's last Clergy One-Off, and given the challenge of showing photographs on Zoom, Rabbi Lee will offer another story for his second "One Off" session scheduled for Saturday, February 12 at noon. Authored by the Yiddish writer, I. L. Peretz, the story is "Bontshe the Silent." Unlike the previous story by S. Y. Agnon, Peretz's story appears to be transparent in its meeting. After an examination of the life of the author, Rabbi will reveal what Peretz was saying about his time and his fellow Jews. This meeting will take place on Zoom 1 only.
