Join us for our weekly review of the “situation” in Israel with our resident Israeli guide Julian Resnick. He is a guide who truly helps to bring what is happening in the world outside ourselves into ourselves. We will grapple with the big questions at this sacred moment in time.
Due to an oversight, an item was left off the agenda of our annual congregational meeting on June 8: A vote on a board-approved change to Article II of the by-laws. Therefore, our Presidents Bob Schwartz and Susan Liberstein have called for a special meeting with the sole purpose of voting on this by-laws change. The Special Meeting will take place on ZOOM ONLY at 10am, Sunday, July 13, immediately following the scheduled Israel-in-Review session.
“The purpose of this by-laws amendment is to reflect our congregation’s alignment with Reconstructing Judaism’s position as a progressive Zionist movement, similar to the language we currently use on oursynagogue website.”
