Activities & Programs

  • The Annual Cooperative Dinner fosters connections between our members. We gather at the synagogue for hors d’oeuvres, conviviality, and Havdalah. Divided into small intergenerational groups, we move on to a congregant’s home to share a meal and get to know one another. Host families prepare the main dish and guests bring the sides.
  • Packages for Young Adults continue our connection to this generation as they move away from home. We send gift packages, accompanied by a letter from the rabbi, at High Holiday time, Hanukkah, Purim, and Pesah. Please call the RSNS office (516.627.6274) for additional information.
  • RSNS Empty Nesters is a group designed to share ideas, join together for fun activities, and serve as a resource to connect with others experiencing a similar transition in their lives. Please email RSNSEmptyNesters@gmail.com for additional information.
  • Havurot are small friendship networks that meet regularly to further relationships that have their seeds in our synagogue community. If you wish to join an existing havurah, or organize a new one, please contact the synagogue office.
