Dear Families,

As you know, our Gan Shalom Parents' Night Out was canceled due to COVID-19.  However, many of our parents worked to secure some fabulous raffle prizes before the virus derailed our plans.  While it's not quite the same, we would like to make sure that we can put these items to use... and do a little fundraising for Gan Shalom at the same time!  

Here's how it works.  You can buy your "tickets" through the donation tab on the RSNS website.  You simply go to RSNS.ORG, select the donation button, use a credit card to charge the amount that you wish, and in the "notes" section you indicate that it's for the Gan Shalom Raffle.

When your payment is processed, you will receive a receipt confirming your donation, as well as indicating your raffle ticket numbers (i.e. 5 tickets purchased would give you numbers 501-506).  Then, you use your "ticket" numbers and enter one number each to "submit" into whichever basket's drawing(s) you wish.  (If you buy 5 tickets, #501-506), then you can enter one number in each of 5 baskets, or multiple numbers in the basket you might really want.  

Where are these baskets you might ask??  

In just a little while, you will be receiving two emails.  One is the "raffle" selection list, and the other is the "silent auction prizes" list.  Both of these emails will be good until Friday, May 8th.  You have one week!  Simply open the emails, scroll through the basket and prize selections, and enter your purchased ticket numbers by the items you desire.

We will then compile all the responses and do a random "pull selection" of one number for each basket on Saturday, May 9th, with the winners announced via email on Sunday, May 10th.  

Raffle tickets (numbers start with a 2, 3, or 4) are:
1 ticket number for $5
6 ticket numbers for $25
13 ticket numbers for $50 
30 ticket numbers for $100  

Silent auction item tickets (these are of greater value than our raffle prizes, and the numbers for these will start with a 6, 7, or 8) are:
1 silent auction ticket number for $20
3 silent auction ticket numbers  for $50
10 silent auction ticket numbers  for $100    

We will be happy to drop off the raffle prizes to the winners (keeping a socially appropriate distance, of course)!
