Family Education

RSNS is committed to enhancing the entire family’s Jewish experience. In addition to the family participation components of our synagogue school programs, we have an extensive Family Education Program including Shabbat Family Services, B'yahad, PJ Library, Mitzvah Day, Intergenerational Retreat, High Holiday Family Services, Tu B'Shevat Seder, and Purim and Simhat Torah Services.

Shabbat Family Services

All families are invited to attend our monthly Friday night Family Services, which are filled with music, stories and student participation. Each month, a different Synagogue School grade will learn key prayers to help lead parts of the service. Consult our calendar for exact dates.

The B’yahad program is an ongoing monthly Saturday morning family service and education experience. Starting at 9:00 a.m., students attend classes while parents meet for a lively discussion (childcare is available for younger children). A family service follows at 10:15 a.m., followed by a light kiddush lunch.
