2^nd Silent Auction

On Sunday, March 16, 2003, we will be holding a Silent Auction during the Purim Carnival. We will be auctioning off a variety of gift baskets, each with a different theme. We are looking for donations of merchandise, services or gift certificates. Suggested items are the following:

Sports: tickets, equipment, memorabilia
Health & Beauty: health & beauty items, gift certificates for massage, manicure, pedicure, haircuts
Judaica: “Jewish” books, CDs, videos; any Judaica
Toys & Books: for any ages from 0 to 99
Cooking & Eating: cookbooks, utensils, kitchen gadgets, gift certificates for restaurants
Entertainment/Get Away: show, concert or movie tickets, limousine service, use of a vacation house
Cacooning/Stay at Home: videos, CDs, a good book, brandy or wine, shawl, afghan
Toddler Basket: anything that can be used by a toddler
Baby Basket: anything for a new baby
Goods and Services: Do you have a service to offer? Piano lessons, computer whiz, accountant, etc.

Items my be dropped off at the synagogue through March 6^th. There will be a large bin near the office. Someone will also be available to collect your donations on the Synagogue School car pool line on March 4^th. Volunteers are needed to help in assembling the baskets on March 13^th from 12 to 6 p.m. Please call Ann Mergler for information or to tell her you're coming to help (please see Synagogue Directory for contact information).
