ZOOM: The Webb Institute: Another Long Island Gem with Director Lauren Caballo and Assistant Director Marissa Alperin
The Webb Institute is another hidden Long Island Gem, which will be featured on Thursday, December 3 at noon on Zoom 1. Located on the former Pratt family estate in Glen Cove, the Webb Institute is a private undergraduate engineering college that grants a four-year tuition-free education focused on naval architecture and marine engineering. Serving 100 students in total, we will learn about the history of the Institute and learn about its unique curriculum from Director of Admissions and Student Affairs, Lauren Carvallo, and from her assistant, Marissa Alperin.
