ZOOM: Juneteenth Kabbalat Shabbat

This Friday, June 19th, instead of our usual 8pm services, we invite you to join Be’chol Lashon and Keshet for a special Shabbat service at 5pm to mark Juneteenth, which commemorates the day in 1865 when Union forces freed the slaves in Texas. Be’chol Lashon is an organization that strengthens Jewish identity by raising awareness about the ethnic, racial and cultural diversity of Jewish identity and experience. The service will be lead by two Rabbis of color, including Rabbi Sandra Lawson, a graduate of RRC. A zoom link will be sent to all members. Prayers of healing and kaddish will be said on Saturday morning, June 20th, at the streamed bat mitzvah service, which begins at 9:45am.
