RSNS member Adam Block helped write the Affordable Care Act as a Congressional staffer from 2008-2010 and then wrote regulations for it from 2010-2013.  He will tell you the real politics behind how it passed.  How it works and why it isn't "such a big deal" because it only impacts 5% of the population. This talk will focus on the history of health reform in the United States, starting with Long Islander Teddy Roosevelt and go all the way to the current Supreme Court case and what he expects to happen when it is heard by the Supreme Court on November 10th and when there is a decision in June, 2021.
