Windows onto the Holocaust: An Exploration of the History of the Shoah through Objects and Images

Historian Thorin Tritter, the Museum and Programming Director at the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County, is offering RSNS members an adult education program, made up of a series of six virtual talks each of which will draw on HMTC's collection, to explain how the Holocaust happened and what lessons we should take from it.

Topics include Weimar Germany: Germany Before Hitler, The Rise of the Nazi Party, The Turning POints of 1938, The Opening of the War and the Establishment of Ghetto, The "Final Solution," and 1945-1950: Liberation, the End of the War, & DP Camps.
