Reconstructing Judaism - New York Day of Learning
Please save the date for the New York Area Day of Learning on Sunday, February 3rd at SAJ.
The theme is: Reconstructing Judaism in 2019.
This program will feature sessions on Justice/Racial Justice, Why Be Jewish and Community. There will be two workshops, lunch and an end note. Session leaders will include local rabbis and staff and leadership from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College.
We will definitely be living in two civilizations on that day, because it is also Super Bowl Sunday. The day will begin at 9:00 a.m. with registration followed by workshops, lunch and an end note. We will end in plenty of time for those participating to return home for Super Bowl festivities.Please let the synagogue office, rsns@rsns.org, know if you are planning on participating on February 3rd.
