THE AMERICAN JEWISH EXPERIENCE through the photography of Frederic Brenner with Rabbi Lee

French born Frederic Brenner has been the photographer of record of the Jewish world for the past forty years. After documenting Jewish communities in Israel, Tunisia, Yemen, and the Soviet Union, Brenner came to America in the 1990's. Having had the first exhibition of his work at our synagogue in the early 80's, he turned to RSNS for guidance. The result was a collection of photographs in which he captured what makes the American Jewish community distinctive. With Rabbi Lee, the assembled will use Brenner's lens to discern the uniqueness of the American Jewish experience.
